Kieron Gribbon is an outdoor writer and photographer based in Northern Ireland. He has been exploring the Irish countryside since his first hill walk in 1997. Along the way, he has passed through the most beautiful scenery Ireland has to offer – mountains, hills, valleys, lakes, coast and islands. He has sampled many of Ireland's finest walking routes, and has visited the highest point in each of its thirty-two counties. Among his achievements outside Ireland, he has also ticked off the National High Points of Scotland, England and Wales.
Since May 2010, Kieron has been a member of the Outdoor Writers & Photographers Guild (OWPG). His working territory covers both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, and his work appears in several best-selling outdoor magazines including Country Walking, Trail and the BBC’s Countryfile magazine. In April 2011, Kieron completed his own personal Irish County High Points challenge. He has since gone on to complete the first-ever walking guidebook devoted exclusively to Ireland's County High Points. This is due out in March 2012, and is set to become the definitive guide to walking Ireland's County High Points (also referred to as County Tops and County Peaks).
Kieron is also developing The Ireland Walking Guide - a section of this website which provides information about walking in Ireland. "The Ireland Walking Guide" was launched in October 2011, and has been designed to function as a standalone website. It can be accessed by clicking on the blue buttons located at the top and sides of any page.
Kieron is also compiling The Ireland Sightseeing Guide - a section of this website which provides information about sightseeing in Ireland. The Ireland Sightseeing Guide was launched in November 2011, and has been designed to function as a standalone website.
